Hi Brent, Or anyone else of course. Any idea what's causing this and how to solve it? Uninstalled all mods and cleared cache before the update. Just to be sure I replaced all the pdfjs viewer files but without effect. Could it have something to do with three new .js files that came with TNG 13.1.1 ? Thx in advance, Rob

T18 has only 2 features in admin -> template settings. I would like to add several more features directly under Feature 2 ( on the front page). I know I'll need to mod some code in t18's index.php. I need some help with at least getting started with this. Thanks. Could I maybe copy a section of code ( a div perhaps) and paste it where it belongs and edit it that way? From what it looks like, I can do 2 features, one on the left and one on the right? I'll attach a picture of it..... The left half is only just that half. I could fit another feature to the right. The long bar menu that's on every page in t18, is not on the main front page. What do i need to do to add it there? Thanks Some call it the ribbon menu.....

I wonder if it's possible to change the order in which media types are displayed on the getperson.php page? I'd like to be able to display the "Documents" section BEFORE the "Photos" section. If it's possible to do so, how to do it?

Hi there - and merry, merry Christmas! I suddenly have a new issue with media files: I can only add them to one person/ID. I.e. I have many gravestones as they are a wonderful source to death dates, and often there are more names on the stones, so I can use them for more individuals (i.e. both husband and wife). Just to illustrate: This image should be used by both individuals: https://tng.stegemueller.dk/showmedia.php?mediaID=736&amp;medialinkID=517 When I try to link the image to person number two, I get the message, that the image is already in use by another person, and therefore it can not be linked again. This is a new issue as I have tons of family images with several persons on them. You might need this extra information: Everything is updated: TNG v. 13.1 and template is 209 from Marsha Bryant. I add data from GEDCOM created by Legacy. I do not enter data directly in TNG except for geo codes. Kindest regards, Hanne

I haven't updated my TNG site in several months and have forgotten how to do things (I wasn't very tech savvy before but since COVID it is worse). Is there a manual that tells how to do things on TNG? I cannot figure out why my picture from "photos" is not showing up when I change a pictureinfo on Template 15 homepage. I find it in "Photos" and change the template to the same name but it doesn't come up on the homepage. Also, since updated to 13.0.3, I have many duplicate pictures in my "Photos". One has jpg on the end and the other doesn't. Thank you. Also, two "Index" photos show up on my photos, is that normal?

Just installed the update to 13.1 from 12.x. All went well except, when I tried to log in, my Admin login failed. After panicking and tearing my hair for an hour or so, I discovered that the problem was that version 12.x would accept upper and lower case letters in the user name as being equivalent. However, 13.1 has (rightly so) eliminated this equivalency and insists that both the User Name and password match EXACTLY! Of course my browser had happily stored my login credentials precisely as I had entered them including the wrong case for one letter! Hope this helps someone.

Do I need to install a cms just to have a decent forum? can't find anything that would easily fit in my extrapages template. I'd gladly use the forum for tng mod, except a user has to logged in just to view the forum.. i don't care anout the login side of things. just not something separate from tng....if you know what i mean. i've searched hi and lo here, there, everywhere. any ideas? thanks. i already have my live site setup and working good, so i really don't want to have to go with a cms....... If there's a way to install a cms without having to scrap tng and redo it. I'll consider it, at least try it on my wam64 server here at the house....

Is there an updated process for integrating google analytics into a TNG site? On the forum, there are some posts from 2017/18, which I tried, but cant seem to get it to work. Just wondering if there are any updates to the process for version 13?

I did a fresh tng install on my fresh install of wampserver64. I was able to install the custom hook menu mod. but 2 others: image captcha mod and the lazarus gb link mod says it cannot install. Trying to import a couple of gedcom files into my fresh installation of tng 13.1. it says the path is c:\fakepath\tmp....or something like that. Whats that all about? and it just sits there spinning and doesn't import.... a little help would be appreciated.

I'm just installing a new tng on my new ampps. Ran into this error when trying to go into admin: any help with explanation and fix would greatly appreciated. btw, I had to do about 1/3 of the install by editing the config.php filr. I got that precious "Please wait, attempting to process" Fixed those i think. now i get this one: Well, i can't get to admin page or home page yet.

I've been working for like 24 hours now to figure out why the wampapache64 service quit yesterday and will not restart no matter what I do. I need access to phpmyadmin to backup my db's. can't get there from here anymore

My extrapages template (based on the historytemplate). How do I code a link such as <a ref="localhost/tng/extrapages/smfforum.php"</a> forgot the h in a href. is this feasable? or do i need more code? normally i have been using text for the extra pages, thanks.
