It is just frustrating that I have spent so much time correctly entering locations and their associated addresses, yet those addresses aren't used during geocoding. They are only used if I manually combine the location and address within the location field itself. What is the point of having an address field if it can't be used? When geocoding, the system ought to automatically check the address field and combine that information during the search. I have 143,000 locations—a great many of which have an associated address—but I cannot (and do not want to) manually copy that data into the location field. Is there a solution for this? I created and downloaded an archive of my TNG installation from my subdomain which resides under my main domain. I unzipped it into the htdocs folder in the Mamp local directory. I created an archive of the SQL database and downloaded it. Following the instructions from the Wiki tutorial I created the Project linking to the unzipped file from my subdomain. Could have 100+ people there. I had this crazy idea for name badges for the reunion. I'd like to put a QR code on the badge that contains a customized URL to a web application I will develop. When the link is loaded, I'd like it to go directly to that person's TNG page. For that, I just need the personID in my registration database to generate the correct URL. That's pretty easy. Even better would be a custom page with a summary of person data. TNG does not appear to have an API for fetching that data. Any workarounds? I'm also looking at ways to generate a relationship description between the person doing the lookup and the "target" person. I'd need to find and save the user's personID for that. For some reason the second image is not showing correctly (doesn't match the others; see png file). When I look on the template setup page, the photos all show 270x390 as the size as does the photo itself in an imaging program. So they should all be acting the same. If I do a save as on the first photo, the result shows 270x 390. If I do a save as on the second photo, the result shows 290x390. I don't know what the heck is going on. Any help would be appreciated. I even redid the resizing and cropping from the original photo and still had the same problem. Also, I tried changing the second photo to use the first one, and the featurettes looked fine. So it's definitely a problem with the photo and not the coding. Thanks! Is that other viewer also a mod? According to the wiki, I can add .webp files starting with version 15. The other file extensions are displayed. When I check /tng.stegemueller.dk/mods/relate_14.0.0.4f/ I do actually have these files: ajx_relate.php, ajx_setanchor.php and link.gif To me it looks like the issue is more or less the same with all of them (but I cannot code). After my host (GoDaddy) upgraded my PHP to 8.4 at the start of May, the site has been down. I'd be very grateful for two kinds of help. The technical situation: WordPress now updated to 6.8.5 Bridge theme (Qode Interactive) with bundled js_composer / WPBakery, LayerSlider, Revolution Slider, Qode plugins, all old TNG integrated via WPTNG-meta.php (Darrin flagged this file as failing on PHP 8 and in need of developer attention) Currently on PHP 7.4 (downgraded by GoDaddy) and still getting a fatal error: Cannot redeclare addslashes_gpc() ... in /wp-includes/deprecated.php on line 6503. Looks like a mismatch of WordPress core files between versions Has anyone else hit this combination? If so, what was your fix path? Can anyone recommend a developer who understands both WordPress and TNG and could do the proper updates (theme, bundled plugins, the WPTNG-meta.php fix, and a clean WordPress core reinstall)? Happy to pay a reasonable rate. I'm UK-based but the work can be done remotely from anywhere.
