Hi all I'm in the middle of upgrading TNG from v7.1.3 to v11. Got to point 6 in the guidance notes: 6. Move custom language files In your web browser, run the script upgrade_migratelangs.php (or just click the link). This operation will open a new window and attempt to move the "cust_text.php" files from your existing language folders to corresponding new folders within the "languages" folder. If you previously used any non-standard language folder names, this operation will attempt to copy the entire folders. When the operation is complete, it is recommended that you remove the upgrade_migratelangs.php file from your web site. Also, your old language folders are now obsolete. Please see the related note at the end of these instructions. I tried to run the script as above but got a message in a new browser window saying: TNG 8.x Language Migration Attempting to move English/cust_text.php to languages/English/cust_text.php...failed. File does not exist. Upload it to the new location if you still want to use this custom file. The language migration process has finished. Please take note above of any action you may still need to complete. I’ve had a look at the original language folder on my website and it just has eng (folder) index.html languages.php In the eng folder it has: core.php index.html I've done a search through my site and there doesn’t seem to be a "cust_text.php" file anywhere? Hi I run 2 TNG sites for different purposes, and as one uses a DB imported by a filtered GEDCOM from the other I wondered if I could save myself a lot of time by Exporting the Cemeteries table from the oriiginal site and importing it into the new site, I should point out I was not sure this would work due to the variation in TNG versions (7.0.2 and 11.1), but it appears to be working OK and is a massive saving in time as I have over 150 cemeteries set up. All I need now is a mod to publicly only display cemeteries that have headstones attached! My question is - Both sites are hosted on the same ISP - SimplyHosting - so having to do table export/import for changes seems cumbersome. Can TNG be configured to use specific DB/Table configurations for specific tables? Or is there an easy way use SQL to "Pull" specific tables from a different database on a regular basis? With Hindsight I should probably have upgraded the older TNG and had both domains running off a Single DB, but the amount of Customisation I did 9 years ago scared me off upgrading to V8.

Hi, I would like to search my notes for a particular phrase or word but I'm very rusty as I haven't done this in years. I added several notes to lots of different people but I'm trying to find one note in particular, to no avail. How would I search all notes for the word "sleeveless" ? Thank you for your help! I'm using template 8 and I have done a lot of customization to the site. My site can be seen at www.castelnuovodiportogenealogy.com and what I want to do now is to add a clock right below my social media icons on the top right of my site. There are also some mods of interest to me however I can not use the mods I wish with out an upgrade to the newest version. I'm some what perplexed as how to upgrade to the newest version. Can anyone offer advise in the simplest terms as how to do this? Thanks
