Custom Attribute not uploading

I would welcome some advice to point me in the right direction please. I have only been using TNG for a week, and I am still in the process of cleaning up my data from my desktop software Family Historian 3. I am using TNG 9.

The first time I tried uploading my gedcom, I choose the option to "Only Upload Custom Events", and on that occasion it uploaded all the custom events that I had created, and one custom attribute (To Do). Since then I have deleted my tree and re-uploaded my gedcom several times during the course of my data cleaning. Just before the last upload I had added another custom attribute (Interest) so I went through the process of only uploading the custom events again, but my new attribute is not there. I have several custom events, all correctly handled, but my second custom attribute is not listed on the "Custom Event Types" page.

The data itself is being uploaded, but on the website it is being labelled with my first custom attribute "To Do".

The following page will demonstrate this. Please log on as Guest, password Guest.

http://parcel-of-rogues.org.uk/getperson.p...&tree=tree1

On this page all the items below Occupation should be labelled "Interest". Only the item immediately under Died is correctly labelled "To Do".

Have I missed something somewhere, or is it because I am trying to add custom attributes?

Thank you,

Sharon

Just to udate everyone. I have found a workaround to this by creating another custom event (as opposed to an attribute in Family Historian), and this has uploaded OK.

It looks as though TNG can only handle one custom attribute, but has no problem with events.

Many thanks,

Sharon

Do you know that to get TNG to accept FH Attributes you need to change all '1 _ATTR' tags to '1 EVEN' before importing your GEDCOM?

Also once you have got TNG to recognise new 'EVEN' custom events, before the data can be imported you must make sure you have selected 'Accept' against Event Data on the edit custom event pages.

If you upgrade to FH5 there is a plug-in that will autmatically edit your GEDCOM and make all the necessary changes.
