NancyP
I have seen other TNG users with the option of checking a button next to Maiden or Married as part of the search option on their front page. I'd really like to incorporate that into my own topmenu. Any help? Here is an example:ExampleThanks,Nancy

I did tweak the code for my own use and put it into a mod file that I use for all of my topmenu customizations. I have attached a stripped down version of my mod that only affects the search function.Maiden_search_t8_v8.1.zipNote: the mod file works in TNG 8.1.2.1 and only with template 8. I'm sure the code could be tweaked to work with other versions of TNG and other templates fairly easily.Regards,Bryan

I thought the rest of the community could benefit if I posted to the forum as opposed to contacting you directly. I also didn't wish to bother. I appreciate the file very much.Nancy

Currently the Married Name in Search Mod only contains the code for Template 4. The article would need to be updated to distinctly show the config file to be downloaded for what template.Ken

Larry Harrell
I loved that function also in previous TNGs, however using Ken's latest MOD for Maiden Name Search from Wiki , I could not get it to install even though I use Template 8. It returns to following "Clean-Up" error:templates/template8/topmenu.php: Location1: Not installedtemplates/template8/topmenu.php: Location2: Bad targetsearch.php: Location1: Bad targetCould be, its not compatible with 8.02 yet or perhaps conflicting with a installed MOD on my site ....It will NOT clean and ultimately had to be deleted....Sure hope it can be reworked soon for TNG 8.02...I miss it ! Cleanup cannot cleanup a Bad Target, it means that the mod must be reworked. What version of TNG are you running?Ken
