thewillistree
While I was browsing through my tree I had an idea - is it possible to display a summary for an individual showing the number of children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, 2xgreat grandchildren etc that person had? I realise this is shown in detail in the Descendants>Text chart, with generations indicated numerically, but I envisage something simple like this:George Willis 1821-1875had:- 10 children- 19 grandchildren- 21 great grandchildren- 8 2xgreat grandchildren- 3 3xgreat grandchildrenAny ideas how this can be done? Is it something for a Mod or inclusion in the next version of TNG?
aewold
Paul,I have been able to do this by adding the descendants of a particular generation to branches (JonesGen01, JonesGen02, etc.)You will want to add descendants for 5 generations, then remove 4 generations for the JonesGen05 branch, for example. You can then query for multiple branches to get a total count, or pull them up individually.Andy
thewillistree
Thanks Andy - I have yet to sort out my branches, but its something I'll be looking at over the summer! :)
