Not communicating with database

Hi there,

I am looking for help with the next problem: I have changed the code to my footer.php:

When I click on the link tot the privacy policy TNG responds as follows: Error: TNG is not communicating with your database. Please check your database settings and try again.

In the options the database refers to meta.php

I use template # 8

All folders etc are spelled correct

I am not a code expert, in fact I know hardly anything but learning as I go along.

Any suggestions?

Please provide us your website, or the first 20-25 lines of your privacy.php file. The website, would allow us to look at the source as well.
