Guest
I just download the files and followed the instal instructions. I used brotherskeeper and created the GEDCOM file and got the above error. Any suggestions?
Guest
I had a similar error (can't remember exact). Our server is on a 'secure' linux platform and the mySQL install was setup by default a bit differently. we found that the mysql.sock (not sure of filename) had permissions set up incorrectly. THEN we found that permissions for the temp folder for apache vs anyone were different (initially started out as apache user, then later in the scripts assumes you are a guest).Forgive me...my husband is the technical one in the family and he did all the server fixes. The jist is to check permissions/access on files such as *.sock and the temp folders.Good luck.
