It is just frustrating that I have spent so much time correctly entering locations and their associated addresses, yet those addresses aren't used during geocoding. They are only used if I manually combine the location and address within the location field itself. What is the point of having an address field if it can't be used? When geocoding, the system ought to automatically check the address field and combine that information during the search. I have 143,000 locations—a great many of which have an associated address—but I cannot (and do not want to) manually copy that data into the location field. Is there a solution for this? In order to get a correct geolocation, I had some years ago to modify all my addresses and keep only 3 levels : city/region/country, putting the more detailed information to a note. Each time a cousin gives me gedcom to include, I have to correct the location of the events to fit my rules. Otherwise, I met issues, not only with the geolocation, but with any computing or statistics using places. Some TNG users use up to five levels in the location name, but based on my 13 years of experience with TNG, if I deviate from my principles, I run into problems. When I started to use TNG, I came from Myheritage, and before that Winfamily, and before that, Brothers Keeper, many different setup have been used/converted by time. But after using TNG, and there are a specific address field, I thought, Thats the right field to use for an address!!! And if I in a field write the whole address(the two combined), the geo is correct, spot on...I just want TNG to auto combine those fields(if exist), then everything would be perfect... I am creating a program seperatly(php) there do it, take the info from my db, and display in a openstreetMap like I want it, but it would be nice if it were an integrated part of TNG—more useful. There are 2 columns with dates, I suppose the 1st is the birth and the second the christening. The last column of left page for parents, and the right page for god father/god mother (and maybe witnesses) and the priest name. The place might be (I am not sure) : Sankt Povls Sogn,a parish in the city of Korsør on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark. Can you confirm, please ?
