[SOLVED] OpenStreetMap 14.0.5.9c_p -- Space doesn't have a map in it

OpenStreetMap v.14.0.5.9c_p

TNG v. v.14.0.6

I know the solution has to be simple and here on the forum somewhere, but I can't find it.  I got everything installed correctly as far as I can tell, and no errors.  But all I have in the map space is space.  No map.  If I click on the pin graphic next to the lat/long, I get taken to a Google map.  But no map shows up on my site.

Now what?

Thanks.

Have you added OSM to the map key?

Looks promising.  Except the poster says he replaced the original ol.js with the latest version -- back in 2022.  So how could this still be a problem?

I don't have the referenced <script> tag in the source on my pages, so it could definitely be the problem.  But the TNG php has always been too sophisticated for me and I can't figure out which file generates the HTML page <head>.  Also, I'm not exactly sure what the <script> line should read four years later?  I'm guessing "v14.0.5.9" in place of "v6.5.0"?

Thanks for finding this post for me!  At least it's a start!

UPDATE:  I tried to figure this out myself and ended up with a 500 server error, so obviously failed.

I also read somewhere that you have to install the mod without OSM in the Map Key

This is only if using a TNG version PRIOR to TNG 13.

So I've messed with it some more today and managed to get it inserted without crashing the site.  But it doesn't solve the problem.  There's still no map in the designated space.  Am I really the only one to have this problem?

What is the template you are using on your site ?  3 years ago, I had to change the template, because OSM was not compliant with Templates Nr 15, 19 and 21. Maybe this issue found a solution since then. But I haven't heard about it.

@Ellsinore Perhaps provide a login that will allow those that can help actually see what is happening..

Template 12, but thanks for the idea!

So I did try a couple of other templates, but the problem remains.

Good morning @Ellsinore

I’ve been looking into this some more, but the only way I can get it to not show a map is by creating an incorrect key map. Are you sure you have “OSM” in all caps, or that there isn’t a space before it, for example?

I'm not sure who I should send a login to?

@Ellsinore,

You could put a generic one up that has just enough access to see an individuals page with a map on..

There are folk out there that can look at the browsers Dev Tools and perhaps see if an error is happening with the Map.

Perhaps if @ajnsmits felt willing he could be given via PM Admin access to check the back end.. I would do that myself, but that would be about my limit should it all look right..

If you are able to check your server logs there may be some clues there as well..

 @RickM, I'll do that; I'll send @Ellsinore a PM.

Good idea!  So I did check.  No extra spaces.

I'm going to post the problem on the forum again; maybe someone has an idea. In edit mode, I see a map, but in normal view, it's gone. As a result, several scripts aren't loading.

The mod installed without any errors. The heat map is displayed correctly

What version of php is the site on??

Wonder if it is worth trying Google Maps and see what happens?

But no map shows up on my site.

Do you have any other mods installed? Particularly ones that might affect that area of the page. You may want to uninstall them and try Open Street Map without them.

No.  Nothing else.  But that's a good idea.

Thanks for the reminder.  ajnsmits sent me new files today and I hadn't had a chance to update the post.

I have no idea how he fixed it!
