dwood Posted October 30, 2025 Report Share Posted October 30, 2025 TNG 10.0 (time to upgrade): when I attempt to load/attach a new document (jpg) under "Add New Media" with the file name identified (I verified the file is in the right location) and requesting a thumbnail be created from the original and adding "Media Information", I then hit "Save and continue". The screen goes blank (white) with the menu items on top and on the left but nothing on the screen and nothing I can do but cancel the attempt. I have not had this problem before. Several days ago I had issues with getting an error message "The thumbnail file could not be copied to /home/tangledw/.... because the original file is too large or is not a valid image, or because the folder does not exist (check the Root Path) or does not have proper permissions (try chmod(777)).." I was not able to quickly resolve this and shut down the PC for 2 days and came back and it was fine. Strange. That approach has not worked on this new issue - I suspect they are related.
