Gedcom import not working after upgrade

Hi all,

After having upgraded to TNG 15.03 and PHP 8.4, importing gedcom has become impossible and i have not been able to find the culprit.

The progess bar never appears and the website freezes during the process. Occasionally throwing a 504 error.

I have also tried the old style import but that doesn't work either.

I have tried uploading the gedcom file from within the admin page and i have tried uploading it via ftp and then installing it; both methods fail. 

Are there specific php settings necessary? Enclosed screenshots of my php settings. Any help is welcome!

Update: i gave up late last night, but this morning it appears that the gedcom has been partially imported. I don't know what that means, other than that however the process is broken, at least something is happening. 

Still clueless on how to fix this.

Let's mark this as fixed, but with an observation: uploading in Chrome working as a charm.

However when using Firefox, the progress bar is not working and import seems to go on indefinitely. In the background though, it is working. You just have to wait and check the statistics page in another browser to see if all records have been imported. 

In a future upgrade it would be nice if the progress bar in Firefox can be made to work.

This is a user to user support forum.  If things need to be fixed in the TNG software, you need to report the problem directly to Darrin or post the issue on the TNG user2 list.  Darrin does not monitor this forum
