MartinH
I already have two versions of my own name in my tree - Harran and Harron. There are, however, some common variations in spelling such as Herron for which I don't have any actual records in my database so they are not offered automatically in the Associate Names mod. Is there any easy way to do this other than directly editing the SQL table?
Rob Severijns
You could create an attribute ALIA and use that field as a field for different spellings. You can even make a hyperlink out of the name refering to the document where the different spelling is found.
MartinH
If I understand it right, Rob, I would have to create that alias for each person. Or can I do it globally on a specific name?
Katryne
Martin, maybe you could try the Associate names mod : https://tng.lythgoes.net/wiki/index.php/Associate_names Edit : Sorry, I missed the point : you already use it.
