idogenealogy
1) Person - John DOE already exists in TNG. 2) A new fact with associated media has been added to FTM 2019 to John DOE. Can I create a GEDCOM of John DOE in FTM 2019, then import (what should I check? what I should *not* check?)? Ken Roy
Have you considered just editing the person directly in TNG and making the corrections using Edit?
idogenealogy
Yes and would do it that way if media wasn't involved. But if I've found say a photo, census and marriage fact -- all associated with media, I just thought it would be a LOT easier to create a GEDCOM of "John DOE" and import it into my TNG tree. But didn't know if it was even possible.
Chris Lloyd
A gedcom doesn't import the media...

Import that GEDCOM file into TNG using the "Replace matching records only" option and "Import Media" This will update that person's record and import the links to the media that are attached. You also have to upload the media to the correct folder in TNG so that TNG can create the thumbnails, and display the images. Roger
