theKiwi Posted September 11, 2022 Report Share Posted September 11, 2022 TNG should be putting the right tags on the page if it's a Media item. eg if you look at this page http://lisaandroger.com/genealogy/showmedia.php?mediaID=66&medialinkID=93 and then view the Source Code of that page you'll see a bunch of lines that start like this Quote meta property="og:xxxx This is the Open Graph tags that Facebook uses to get a thumbnail to go with a link. If you're asking about somewhere else in TNG, then it's not so well organised to give Facebook the tags it needs. I have a facebook group where I regularly post a link to an individul's tng page on death anniversary. Sorry. Please ignore what I say below. I should have seen that Roger has got the a cfg file available for download. My solution is very similar to the solution of Roger. I have a file which collates open-Graph data and this is inserted in the getperson.php as an include statement. It may be useful to have a TNG mod using one of the two solutions. I write Wordpress plugins but have absolutely no idea how to write TNG mods. Hope that helps.
