John Paul 0 Report post Posted August 5 When I upgraded my hosted site to 13.1.2, everything is perfect. When I did a new install on my new Dell pc, I get this in the screenshot. anyone see or run into this from other users? Thanks
Rob Severijns 0 Report post Posted August 5 John Paul, Are you sure the correct template files are in the correct template folders?
Philip Roy 0 Report post Posted August 6 That looks like template 18 to me, not
John Paul 0 Report post Posted August 6 @Rob - Yes I'm sure. Like I said, this is a new install of 13.1.2 with no modifcations. The upgrade to 13.1.2 from 13.1.1 on the hosted site shows the correct template. @Philip - It is template 21, it just shows template 18 in the preview window. Don't know why and it's not that big of a deal, template 21 works as it always has.... I was just wondering if anyone has run into this. The only difference I can see is my host (simplyhosting) us using php v7.3 where wamp64 is using php v 7.4.26. Like I said, it's not causing any problems/issues, it's just a little annoying. I can live with it, just wondered id anyone else has had or seen this.....
Rob Severijns 0 Report post Posted August 6 (edited) John Paul, PHP version shouldn't be the cause here. Are the other templates correct? Like is template 18 actually template 18? Try replacing the template 21 files with a new set of files. That may help. Edit: Also check the preview pictures in the Template 21/IMG folder to see if they are the correct ones. Philip Roy 0 Report post Posted August 6 I agree with Rob…probably file related (maybe file permissions at a guess). Template 21 preview is Template 21 on my site
John Paul 0 Report post Posted August 6 now this is on both my sites (local and hosted). I'm going to do another fresh install on my local host and see what it does....
Rob Severijns 0 Report post Posted August 6 My guess is that the preview files in the Template21/img directory are incorrect. You should check those.
Rob Severijns 0 Report post Posted August 6 Sent you a PM with the correct preview images. Hope that helps.
John Paul 0 Report post Posted August 6 I just did a new install on my local host and it's the same thing. @Rob - Thanks I'll check it out.
John Paul 0 Report post Posted August 6 (edited) still the same on both sites... I just don't get it.... I have verified thru several photo apps that the 4 preview images are correct.... Edited August 6 by John Paul additional info
Philip Roy 0 Report post Posted August 6 Is templateconfig.php writable? if you change templates to something else and apply that change, does the change happen?
John Paul 0 Report post Posted August 6 well, it's like this...COD what a dumbass! Should have done this before I even posted the issue....CLEAR THE CACHE! everything is ok now... Thanks guys for the help. Always appreciated. We can chalk this one up to DA user error... BTW, does this forum software have a way to mark as solved or whatever? Philip Roy 0 Report post Posted August 6 Literally had sat here thinking “I’m sure he’s probably cleared the cache” 🤣 Think you are just mean to change the subject heading to include SOLVED
