Redwreck
I'm having difficulty understanding how to add histories, in general. I tried adding a history via the "Add New History" area of the admin panel, by adding plain text in the "body text" field and selecting "Convert line breaks to HTML on display". This, in fact, created a link under "Histories" to the history I'd created, however, when I clicked the link, I got a 404 error, and my histories folder was surprisingly empty. I then created a html page, to which I added the header and footer for my e107 theme, so that it would display within the theme. I uploaded this to my "histories" folder and added it via the "Add New History" in the admin panel. This second attempt had far more pleasing results, however I would also like the TNG default menus (the drop-down menu I'm using in leiu of the icons and the home, print, etc. icons) to display as well. My question is do I have to add these to the html page manually, as I did the e107 theme info., or am I as misdirected as I think I may be. I'd guess that there might be an easier way to accomplish this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!Amy
Redwreck
My apologies for not having posted this in the appropriate subforum. I've gotten my "histories" pages to render as I'd like them to by manually adding the relevant codes. Creating the first page was somewhat confusing for me, but subsequent pages were easy, as the first served as a template. I am just a chronic over-complicator, who frequently wonders about how much I actually over-complicate.
