jboyergreen
I've been using TNG version 13 (Template 19) for several months now with no problem, but suddenly I haven't been able to login as administrator (the only account for the site). The only way I can login to make changes now is to go into my php admin on my hosting panel and delete my TNG admin account. When I try to re-create a TNG admin account, I receive the message that the account is activated and it shows up in my php admin module on my host but the login doesn't work. The only recent changes I've made are installation of the Custom Hook Menu Mod and having my host turn on SSL, and the site worked well after both of these changes. This is the link to my site: https://bbbfamilies.com Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated. Jeff
Ken Roy
Jeff, If you made your site https, you should check that you updated your TNG Domain URL to reflect https:// and not http:// If you cannot login, edit your config.php file directly. You should also make sure that your $rootpath in line 54 is $rootpath = ""; TNG domain is in line 58 If those changes do not resolve your problem, you should probably report the problem directly to Darrin so it can be fixed in TNG
BobD
I have the same problem. I haven't changed anything or even been on my site in several weeks. I know I haven't forgotten my ID or Password because I use a password manager program (Roboform). I've tried the reset password form but never get an email for it. What do I do now ?? Ken Roy
@BobD Maybe your host upgraded PHP versions or something. If you have not been your site in several weeks, what TNG version is it running. To get a password reset form you had to select the option that allowed Edit Profile - allow_profile field in the tng_users record for your Admin user must be a
BobD
I'm running v13.1.2. I found the problem. My host didn't think my password was secure enough and changed it without notifying me. I got it fixed. Thanks for the response. Bob
