Hava Porat
when I hover over the link "Download GEDCOM" I get the address: www.myroots.co.il/etzged/T1.ged I open the link in new tab and got this: The page you are looking for does not exist; it may have been moved, or removed altogether. Please check further the family or the person you were looking for. Click on the My Roots home page and start over. how and where can I create the file? thank you in advance Hava
theKiwi
Is etzged the name of your GEDCOM folder? It seems to be because if I cut the T1.ged off the end of the url I get told that I can't see the contents of the folder. You could use the File Manager from the cPanel, or an FTP software to look inside that folder and see if the file T1.ged is in there, and download it that way. Perhaps ask your hosting company about this - they can check from their side if there's anything odd about that folder or file. Ken Roy
What do you have in your Import Settiings for the GEDCOM Folder (Import/Export): location? If you specified a location that is outside of the web server addressability so others cannot get to your data as shown in the Move your gedcom files in the Security category, you cannot access your gedcom file using your browser. You have to use your cPanel File Manager or an FTP client to download the file. Edited - if your GEDCOM folder is etzged as Roger indicated above, you might have added other security messures to prevent access to that folder since it returns You are not allowed to see the contents of this folder.
