bhemph
Mike, Are you looking for completely unconnected individuals? If so, searching People in admin with the "No children", "No parents", and "No spouse" checkboxes checked will give you those. If you are looking for something like John Q Public, Jr being connected as father of John Q Public, III but not being connected to John Q Public, Sr and the rest of the tree through him, then it is not a simple query or report. I know it has been posted before a genealogy program that can be used to analyze the GEDCOM or the tree afterwards, but I cannot seem to find the message suggesting the program I used one time after trimming part of my tree. Ken Roy
Thanks Brent, Your answer about using Admin > People with the checkboxes is better than my answer. I normally do not think of the Admin screens since I import my data, but when ran that Search I have 42 unconnected persons in my primary tree. I have some clean up work to do. By the way, I replied the way I did to get users to think of the TNG as a repository for lots of reports from Henny that do data validation.
