ronlomax
Hi. I am a new user with very little experience of html or php. I have the latest version, using Template 20 I am wanting to do the following: 1. Remove the Paternal/Maternal/Spouses Paternal/Spouses Maternal Family links from the sidebar. On the home page I have written pieces that fulfil this function. I have tried just deleting the titles from Template Settings on the Admin page, but this also removes the headers on the Home page. I would like advice regarding either removing the links from the sidebar, or simply adding the headers to the home page please. I am not clever enough to work out which file I need to change. 2. Is there an easy way to put two photographs at the top right of the homepage instead of just one. 3.Is it possible to put captions under the header photos, or would it be better to explain the photos in one of the Family Story section ? Sorry for all the questions, but any help really appreciated. Thanks Ron

Your would need to modify the topmenu.php file for Template20. Make sure you keep good notes in case the topmenu.php file is changed in a future version of TNG 1 hour ago, ronlomax said: 2. You could try using a program that supports combine 2 photos into 1, but I suspect that you are not going to be able to fit them in the required width of the current right photo. Note that the two photos are also used on all pages not just the home page 1 hour ago, ronlomax said: 3.Is it possible to put captions under the header photos, or would it be better to explain the photos in one of the Family Story section ? Again you could change the photo in a program that allows changing photos, but the later option might provide more flexibility
