rbirkey
Does anyone know why our Statistics display screen shows the earliest birth as "Abt 1700-05" when we have other ancestors dating back to the 1400-1500's?
bhemph
I would guess TNG is storing "Abt 1700-05" as the year 5 in the field used to calculate the earliest birth. Try changing it to "Abt 1700-1705" or "Bet 1700-1705" and see if that fixes it.
rbirkey
We have tried to make changes as suggested to get our stats to work correctly, with no success. Attached are 4 examples that are older than the one that appears for "earliest birth".
theKiwi
Take a look in the tng_people table with phpMyAdmin and see what shows up in the field birthdatetr for these people - if TNG has "got it right" it will be a date of the form yyyy-mm-dd and set so it makes sense - eg 1580 as a year should show as 1580-00-00, (an invalid MySQL date, but it would sort before someone born on 1 Jan 1580); bef 1600 should show as 1599-12-31 But if TNG didn't get it right, that birthdatetr field might be empty, which would explain why they're not being found as an Oldest Birth Roger
