Ed R Posted December 23, 2020 Report Share Posted December 23, 2020 Hi, My installation of TNG 13.02 is complete! Now I am trying to set up my Home Page and have a few questions. The template that I am using is #17. The ID numbers for the dad's side and mother's side are entered and working. When clicking it goes to the Ancestors page. Is there a way to change the default to Descendants? I checked out the help section and forums and could not find any information on Feature Links. What I would like to do is link to additional individuals to the menu by their ID number and open the Descendants page. Can this be done? MichaelM Posted December 28, 2020 Report Share Posted December 28, 2020 Hi Ed, I don't know if this helps: In one of my early TNG-trials i changed the feature-Link to: "./descend.php?personID=I615&tree=M1&display=standard&generations=4" where "M1" is the name of my tree Another way is to modify ../templates/template17/index.php: replace "pedigree.php" with "descend.php" in lines 46 and 53 and modify ../templates/template17/topmenu.php: replace "pedigree.php" with "descend.php" in lines 20 and 27 regards Michael Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
