Can I add a customized link on the main page?

Is there a way to add a customized "back" link to the users main page? I have my overall family web site, and the TNG site is a sub-page off my home site.  I'd like to have a customizable "back" button that sends the user back to my family web page.  I hacked that capability on my v11 TNG site a number of years ago, but I learned just enough PHP at the time to cobble that together and haven't used it since, so I'm hoping that capability is in v13 but I just haven't found it... yet!

I think this will work - go to the index.php file in the template2 folder and change line 161 to this

						<a href="./index.php"><img src="<?php echo $cms['tngpath'] . $templatepath; ?><?php echo $tmp['t2_mainimage']; ?>" alt="" width="327" style="max-height:460px" class="noimgborder rounded10" id="mainphoto"/></a><br/><br/>

You might need to tweak the part in the "" marks after a href=

To be fair, I did see the "cruel, but fair" comment from Monsieur Kirsch, and he's right, I should've responded to theKiwi directly. My less than feeble excuse is a) I haven't had time to try his suggestion, and b) I wanted to get the suggestion working before I acknowledged it.  I'm eyeballs deep in final edits for a book I want to publish in January, and I *know* that resurrecting my long-dormant PHP "skills" (and I use that term VERY loosely) would be more than a 10-minute adventure.  Perhaps I was too obtuse in my original post, but I was asking if there was already a way to implement that capability in the existing (and extensive) customization code that comes with TNG, and if not, respectfully suggesting adding it.

There is no obligation to give anyone here a special "thank you", so please no guilt trips.
