Jan_S
SOLVED - see replies. I have an API code and can view the maps when I am working as an administrator. However, if I log in as a guest, access is forbidden. I think my problem is the way I set up access with Google. I have attached a screen shot of my permissions and a screenshot from Java console of the error. Thanks for any help.
RickM
I can see there is a period/full stop in front of your url listed.. That may be the cause of your issue.

No, that should be saying that it applies to all sub-domains of evernfamilytree.com - including the www subdomain, and any others like genealogy.evernfamilytree.com etc Roger
Jan_S
Thank you! That did the trick - I didn't see the period after the star - once removed I had access to the maps.

Jan_S
Hmmm - indeed. I'm looking at your domains and is see one is xxxx.lisaandroger.com - so there is a period before lisaandroger in that one. My only domain is http://evemfamilytree.com - with no period. Could that be why it works for you and not for me?
theKiwi
It shouldn't be - since your domain can also be http://www.evemfamilytree.com - which does have a period. For my site I have lisa.lisaandroger.com, houliston.lisaandroger.com, as well as lisaandroger.com and www.lisaandroger.com Roger
Jan_S
That is a puzzle then. I don't know the answer.
RickM
Indeed, something Mr Goolge has tucked up nicely in the lets screw the folks dept!!@Jan_S suggest you keep an eye on it.. Maybe do a lttle more research into it too.. I agree with Roger and should have thought of that, however have not used Google Maps for a while now. I am pleased my idea worked, but it may not be the actual solution..
