Strathglass
Interesting. Not sure why the different behaviour. But thanks for all the help! BTW, the thumbnail problem: I was able to solve that by generating those myself locally, and copying them onto the server (same folder as media files). I used the attached Perl script. [EDIT: Also had to, in the admin menu under "Media >> Thumbnails", do a GENERATE for the option "Regenerate thumbnail path names where file does not exist"] The odd thing is, the script generates thumbnails for PDFs (based on first page of PDF file), but it looks like TNG does not support thumbnails for documents! [EDIT2: Actually, I can manually edit a DOCUMENT-type media item and assign the JPG thumbnail I created, just can't have it automatically pick up the thumbnail like it does for PHOTO-type media.] thumbnail_generator.pl
Rob Severijns
In order to mitigate that I save all my documents as a .jpg file. Rob
Strathglass
Rob - I was thinking about that for single-page documents, but of course it doesn't really work for multi-page documents, and I have a lot of those.
