XerxX
@Michel KIRSCH Hi Michel. I've tried your Watermark mod a little bit at my Localhost and I like the little I've seen very much. I have one wish, though: Is it possible to have one directoriy (or more ) excluded from the watermark function? At one of my sites, I have a directory of old public domain maps and watermarking them looks ... well, not good. Therefore I can't use it where it's needed: The site is almost fully open showing medis and what not. Thanks In Advance, Erik
Michel KIRSCH
Hi Erik, I'll check what's possible to do. I'm actually on fire with the finalization of 2-3 new mods. A bientôt Michel
Michel KIRSCH
Yes; it's possible. I'll check that for you Michel
XerxX
Thanks for replying Michel. Take your time; there's no hurry. The site is too new and it's summer - no weather for genealogy Best regards, Erik

Michel KIRSCH
Hi Erik, Could you try this new version? (uninstall old one and reinstall this one) AFTER uninstall, delete manually your extensions/watermark_mod_vars.php file (it is copy protected) OR AFTER install you may edit it and add manually somewhere this new parameter : $directories = ""; Say me if it's OK for you... XerxX
Thank You Michel! It seems to work really good! I only excluded one directory (for now). I installed it on my "Local community..." site (see sig) and the maps in "Media / Kartgalleriet" are excluded. Clicking a thumbnail shows the map in a large size (the one below is 1850 x 3151px). The maps are also connected to the respective place, (placesearch.php - "Arlom" below) where a smaller version, stored in the same dir, is shown when clicking a thumbnail there. However: Hovering the thumbnail gives a preview - that is watermarked That I think is a bit peculiar as the thumbnail is stored in the same directory as the maps and the smaller version is not watermarked. Only the preview image: (Yes; the watermark text is very thin - set to "80") The site is public so you can look yourself. It's Swedish only but it's TNG and not too different from standard... To the map collection To the place Arlom Now I just have to replace all photos I've been watermarking by hand (Not many at all) Nice, really nice. Michel KIRSCH
OK Erik. Super ! Yes preview images are treated differently than the big ones. Will check that later. If I can do something without changing too much code... But I think it"s not a problem for the user... Regards Michel
Drake
I just installed the watermark mod, and really like it. Is there a way to turn off the option to allow users to request an unwatermarked copy of the photo they are viewing? I would prefer to not to give users the option. Drake
Thanks Michel. I appreciate the hard work on this module. In the meantime, what lines/module would I comment out to remove the link to request the original image?
Michel KIRSCH
you can comment all these lies in showmedialib.php. (just delete the final '\' at 3th line) I think it is sufficient. Michel (~ line 680) /*********************************************************** MOD Watermark (originals basket) ************************************************************/ global $mylanguage; include ($mylanguage . "/cust_text.php"); $tabletext .= tableRow($watertxt['wmk'], "<a href = \"watermark.php?action=getthisimage&mediaID={$imgrow['mediaID']}&tree={$imgrow['gedcom']}\">{$watertxt['getit']}</a>"); /*********************************************************** END MOD Watermark (originals basket) ************************************************************/
