Hello, I have a problem with the heatmap, it takes 50 seconds to open when we click the button on the person search page.
would someone have already had this problem or would you have a solution to solve my problem?
I specify that the tng_places table contains 25734 line.

Thank you for your help

What TNG version are you running?

If OSM - what version?

Are all 25K places included in the heatmap?

The more details you give us, the beter we can answer your questions.

Hello,

TNG is in version 12.3
I use the google maps.
No, not all 25,000 locations are included in the heat map?
I take an example, in my person search, I have a result of 4 people who all come from the same city, the city has many GPS coordinates in the tng_places table. When I click on the heat map, the page is displayed in 50 seconds

Time to find a solution, I deactivate the button.

Thank you for your help

I see that you have two trees in the list. Do you have many trees?

Can you select one tree and if so: Does it perform better?

Hello,

I have 82 trees.
if I search in a single tree, the heat map takes 1 minute to open.
Example for the surname ARNOS (I only have one ARNOS in my tree), the result is still displayed in 1 minute. however the place is geolocated.

Thank you

I have a place w/ 1,220 persons (one tree). It takes no time to open.

If your map above contains only 4 persons (it seems so), there must be something wrong.

Too bad I can't help you more.

In the tree I have selected I only have 793 people (by selecting the 82 trees I have 836,293 people) and the map is displayed in 1 minute

If someone had a solution

I don't know if this is something, but in your screen-shot above I see no name of any tree, right? Only Last name includes "ferrandi" and First name contains "gentile", but not "AND Tree equals ...." like it does when I search, even if I have only one tree and therefore can't select:

How do you select which tree to search? Drop-down list, or by logging in or..?

In this post you asked me to test with a single tree, that's what I did.
here is the screenshot of my test with a single tree.

Pedro, I'm just trying to understand what is wrong.

If selecting one person from 793 takes a minute, there must be something wrong.

I think I'd write to Darrin and show him the screen-shots.

No, that's not Darrin's style. Maybe he's been ill?

If you've been waiting for a week, I think you can remind him.

Perdro,

You might reach more folks (maybe even Darrin, since he follows it) on the tngusers2@lythgoes.net . You could include a link to this forum thread in the email. Just a thought.

Pedro,

Did you include a graphics on your post to the tnguser2 list?  I ask because I did not see a message posted to the list.  Graphics added to messages sent to the list often exceed the size allowed for the message.

Most often the reason why problems posted on the forum do not get an answer is that no one has a solution to the problem.

I received a message that told me that I was not a member of this list, how do I become a member of the tngusers2-owner@lythgoes.net list?
