(SOLVED!) I want a custom favicon for Mobile - how?

Hi all,

I made a favicon.ico on line and it works, see botebygden.se (Swedish only)

In the package were some other images I uploaded that should work with mobiles - I suppose:

android-chrome-192x192.png
android-chrome-512x512.png
apple-touch-icon.png
favicon-16x16.png
favicon-32x32.png

(favicon.ico = the "ordinary" one)
and
site.webmanifest (what's this? Anyone knows?)

I also got a small HTML-script that I didn't use (should be added to genlib.php?):

<link rel="apple-touch-icon" sizes="180x180" href="/apple-touch-icon.png">
<link rel="icon" type="image/png" sizes="32x32" href="/favicon-32x32.png">
<link rel="icon" type="image/png" sizes="16x16" href="/favicon-16x16.png">
<link rel="manifest" href="/site.webmanifest">

I uploaded the images and favicon.ico works but when I use sitever=mobile, I get the TNG icon.

Do you know how to replace it?

Thanks In Advance,

Erik

It should go in the <head></head> section of the page.  The site.webmanifest looks like it is for the shortcut saved on your mobile device.

Thanks, I found the corresponding lines in genlib.php and simply remarked them and added the new lines.

Worked! See botebygden.se/?sitever=mobile

I'm happy now.

Erik
