I've been adding gedcom updates from Ancestry over the years... yes, YEARS. Now I have 38,000 + souls on my site instead of the 28,000 I should have... the duplicates have gotten to the point I can't manage any more... Ok, so my question for this august body of users is "how do I delete 38,000 + people from my tree and start fresh with my current Gedcom?" Is it possible? I started deleting people one page at a time but at 25 people per page there are 1400+ pages to delete... I'll be here at the computer till tomorrow straight through the nite... But unfortunately I got your reply too late... spent half the day erasing 38,000 people 25 at a time. Plus all the family units I think another 3500+ Oh well, everyone learns one way or another...
