Individual Page Order

Recommended Posts

Probably not possible, but out of the box, the Individual page is in the following order:

  1. Personal Information
  2. Parents
  3. Marriages
  4. Event Map
  5. Notes
  6. Pictures
  7. Documents
  8. Sources

Is it possible to modify this order, so that Notes will appear just above the Event Map?

You could try editing getperson.php - make sure you save a copy of it first.  Look for notes and copy that section and put it above the event map section.

As above, backup file getperson.php first then move :

    if( $notestogether != 1 ) {
        if( $rights['both']) {
            $notes = $notestogether ? buildGenNotes( $indnotes, $personID, "--x-general-x--" ) : buildNotes( $indnotes, $personID );
        }
        else
            $notes = $text['livingnote'];

        if( $notes ) {
            $persontext .= beginSection("notes");
            $persontext .= "<table cellspacing=\"1\" cellpadding=\"4\" class=\"whiteback tfixed\">\n";
            $persontext .= "<col class=\"labelcol\"/><col />\n";
            $persontext .= "<tr>\n";
            $persontext .= "<td valign=\"top\" class=\"fieldnameback indleftcol\" id=\"notes1\"><span class=\"fieldname\">{$text['notes']}&nbsp;</span></td>\n";
            $persontext .= "<td valign=\"top\" class=\"databack\">$notes</td>\n";
            $persontext .= "</tr>\n";
            $persontext .= "</table>\n";
            $persontext .= "<br />\n";
            $persontext .= endSection("notes");
        }
    }

To above the line with:

    if ( $map['key'] && $locations2map ) {

The code where to move it to will be different for you Rob as you have the OpenStreetMap Mod installed. I forgot you use that.

Try moving it to above

/* Start OpenStreetMap mod v12.0.0.3 (1/9) */

    if ( $locations2map ) {

/* End OpenStreetMap mod v12.0.0.3 (1/9) */

Hello !

You might try the 2 mods Regroup Person profile and Regroup person date place in order to reorganize the individual page.
