Paul McKnight Posted May 17, 2019 Report Share Posted May 17, 2019 Can anyone tell me why I am getting the same person twice in the generations report? Take a look at Page 5, generation 10. Number 37 is Joseph Almanzor Savard and listed are his 16 children. Then go to page 8, generation 11, number 60. There he is again with all his children listed below. What am I doing wrong? Mark St Posted May 17, 2019 Report Share Posted May 17, 2019 Hi Paul, If you look at his ancestors lines, he comes down 2 lines in that tree. On page 5 his ancestors are Joseph, Laurent, Laurent, Mathieu, Pierre, Joseph, Jean, Simon, Simon. On page 10 his ancestors are Joseph, Alexanandrieene, Louis, Louis..... So it looks like his great grandparents might be related through the marriage of Laurent and Alexandrienne. Based on what I see that would be my conclusion.
