Problems after update from 12.0.1 to 12.0.3

Recommended Posts

Claes

After updating from 12.0.1 to 12.0.3, following all instructions, some functions stopped working.

1. The login button is not working.

2. Pull down menus "find" , "media" and "info" are not  working

3.The administrative setup configuration pages "General settings" and "chart settings" are not working.

Any clues ?

The JavaScript Console shows that you're missing some of the needed JavaScript files. Try uploading the whole js folder from the upgrade again and see if that fixes the problem.

Hi Roger,

Great suggestion, it was even worse, all JS files were gone after the transfer from the update folder. Some mistake, but by moving all JS files from the full install and keeping the updated ones, I'm back to a fully working site again.

Thanks a lot for the help !

The problems are not yet totally eliminated.

The ancestors "vertical" chart is not working. The boxes are just placed to the left without any lines in between.

Any suggestions on that one ?

When upgrading you shouldn't be using "full instal" files.

It won't do any harm to try the upgrade again from scratch, but make sure you use the upgrade files only.

This sounds also like missing files - try to upload the whole css folder from the upgrade again to your site to see if that fixes it.

Thanks Roger, I should have checked the other folders as well.

Seems to be back working.
