Horsman_ONS
I and doing a one name study, and am using 'branches' to identify the different families. One family is from Masham and has a daughter, who marries a man descended from a family from Ripon. Obviously their descendents could belong to either Branch. Can people belong to multiple branches? if not, suggestions as to how to solve this dilemma would be gratefully received. Sue
bhemph
Yes, individuals in a tree can belong to multiple branches. I belong to 15 branches in my tree. The branch just being a label. Now if you have the couple or their descendants as users and are trying to restrict them to a branch, then there could be more thought needed to accomplish that restriction.
