CPI - do not contact the developer

Recommended Posts

MadRanger

I have attempted three CPI imports this morning and each has returned a message advising not to contact the developer if the the Ancestry Index does not contain column labels. As far as I can determine, the headers are present - but don't seem to be picked up in the DOM.

Anyone else encountering this issue?

Ancestry.com - 1880 United States Federal Census
Series is US Federal Census
Country is
No header columns found in for each loop
No header columns found after 1st if statement
No header columns found after 2nd if statement
No header columns found in index DOM source
If Index on Ancestry does not contain column labels, do not contact the developer

Use the Add tab to manually add the census transcript.

My guess is that Ancestry changed their DOM source generator once again and the import script is not finding the tags used.   I do not have time to figure out what the issue is.  Since I did not write this code, it always takes me a long time to figure out why it does not work.

Trudy sent me a DOM source file and I will look at yours also when time permits, but right now more import life events are taking all my time at the moment and I am often too tired to think straight
