jeff g
😄 Hi! I need to collapse a number of events such as residence, etc. that are cumbersome in the individual view. The mods for collapse are not quite collapsing all that is needed. Is there a way to add some lines of code to a .php to control collapsing particular events? Thanks for any input! Ken Roy
Jeff, TNG provides event collapsing but you have to enable it. Go to Admin > Custom Event Types and select the events that you want to collapse and then click the Collapse Selected button
jeff g
Thanks Ken :) Perhaps I should have been more specific. The event is collapsed for "residence" for example in my tree, but each years residence takes up space. I would like to have 1 collapsed for residence like you have for birth and other events. i have included a screenshot to show how large it gets even with collapse "on" in the admin=>events=> "residence". so that is why i mentioned code in a php file or a mod i missed somewhere. Ken Roy
There is no mod that does that. Send it to Darrin as an enhancement request. You also appear to have multiple Residence events for the same year and location, so you should clean those up.
