Cor Kuipers
Hi all I've just updated to TNG 12 and now the event map is only showing when the site is in english. In any other language the link is gone. http://genealogs.nl/getperson.php?personID=P752&tree=1 Any help is welcome Cor Kuipers
Ken Roy
Cor, I tried to look at your site. When I switched to English it went to a different page. when I clicked the back button in an attempt to get back to the page (by the way, the forum software does not expand the URL to make it a link, you need to provide the http://), I received the following Quote PAGE RIPPING BLOCKED My site contents are freely available for viewing. The genealogical information provided within this site represents a few 1000 hours of research. If you wish to download large sections of my site, please have the courtesy to ask me first. If you are a relative, I can provide you with information in more concise forms and higher resolution images. If you are simply harvesting information for commercial reasons, please stop. Your IP address has been logged. Repeated attempts to rip this site will simply result in a complete ban of you IP address and surrounding range. Thank you, Site Manager You likely need to check your mod installations

bhemph
Cor, There is something odd going on. When I change the language, I get redirected to http://genealogs.nl/img/ which displays oddly, since it isn't the site correctly and css files must not be getting loaded. I don't know how many times it must redirect or what though in order to trigger that Rip Blocking page to come up instead of the Rip Warning page, unless you have the settings changed from the defaults to be much more strict. It looks like I must be permanently banned from just trying to change the language in two different browsers a few minutes apart with console logs on trying to see what exceptions you have. theKiwi
I would suggest that right now you disable the rip prevention Mod - I've been blocked out by it too. Roger
Cor Kuipers
I've disabled the rip prevention mod, Let me know if thing are going better. And now you're all here maybe you can help me with tihs matter. Http://http://genealogs.nl/getperson.php?personID=P752&tree=1 when you go to tis page and click on worksheet and see what happens this nor only on this page but all the pages. Can one of you tell me what is going on here ? Cor
theKiwi
There is still some really weird stuff going on - e.g. from a get person page when I click to change the language I get to this page http://genealogs.nl/mods/droplist_icons/Afrikaans-UTF8.png That just makes no sense!! Same thing happens trying to get to the Worksheet. Try this - go to your TNG Admin ------> Settings ------> Setup ------> General Settings ------> Paths and Folders Find whatever is in the Rootpath field - copy it to a text document, then delete it from the settings and save the settings Now go back to the same area - it will be filled in with a correct value Copy that and compare it to what you saved to the separate document before. Save the changes in TNG Admin again Is the silliness still happening? Roger
Cor Kuipers
I did what you ask me to do but it makes no diffence the values stays the same /home/genealog/public_html/ Cor
bhemph
Is there something in the .htaccess file that is doing some redirect? Or an index file in many of the subdirectories (fgw, img, js) that could be doing these strange interactions? Does the FGW Tabs mod have the correct path to fgw.php from the root TNG folder? theKiwi
Try uninstalling all of your Mods to see if that makes a difference. Where is the page that comes up when these strange things happen - it looks like an unstyled index.php page, but it comes up for example here http://genealogs.nl/img/ and http://genealogs.nl/fgw/fgw.php?persfamID=P752&tree=1 and many other places. Or ask your hosting provider what is happening to cause this. Roger
bhemph
Cor, There is another post on the forums about the redirect issue when changing languages like you have. I am not sure if it is exactly the same issue that he had or not, but maybe something there makes sense. If you check your language files in a php syntax verification checker, are there problems that are identified? Brent
