Janfg
When printing PDF reports, it prints &asymp instead of "c" which is the symbol for christening. See the attached example. Any ideas how to fix this? Using TNG version v.11.1.1 and Adobe Acrobat Pro DC version 2017.009.20058 Example of PDF problem.pdf Quote Link to comment
Janfg
Well, the question then is: why is it printing html codes in the PDF report instead of what the code stands for? Quote Link to comment
Chris Lloyd
It's possible that you have an unrecognised character in your report the ≈ is NOT a recognised html character : http://www.ascii.cl/htmlcodes.htm Quote Link to comment
Janfg
Looking more closely, the &asymp appears where the date of birth is not specified i.e. date of birth is blank, but date of christening is specified? Quote Link to comment
Janfg
The problem was related to the Language setting - works fine in English but when I specify Afrikaans it displays special characters like &asymp on the screen and prints them in reports Quote Link to comment
