Kare
I get the following error message when I log on as an administrator and change and try to save the Template settings: "Forbidden You don't have permission to access /admin_updatetemplateconfig.php on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request." The error message (and lack of update of the site) appeared after switching from template 8 to template 15 in TNG 11.0.2. All changes are reflected correctly, however, if I edit the templateconfig.php file at my laptop and upload the file to my site. Can somebody tell me what is causing the error? You may need to clarify your situation. I'm reading that there is an error but the changes are correct if you edit the templateconfig file. If that is the case, then the problem would have been with that file.
Kare
There is no error, but I cannot perform and save changes (through Template settings) when I am logged on to the site as an admin. But I can edit the templateconfig.php file locally at my laptop and FTP the changed file to my site. The changes made locally (and uploaded) are reflected correctly at the site. Hi, I had something similar happen to me recently. My hosting provider found a problem with mod security... Quote Merv, Could you please try again , i have changed the website template. It seems the issue was due to mod security and i have disabled it for the domain 'whakapapaonline.com' . Let me know if you need any further assistance. Kare
SOLVED The cause was a security setting with Simply Hosting. They have changed the setting, and the 'Template settings' now works as it should. My ip address was partially blocked because I logged on to the site from my laptop and ipad simultaneously. matvernier
I have a similar issue with a clean install of 15.0.2. I read this post and the answers but I just don't know what am I supposed to ask my provider? I am not with Simply Hosting so my provider does not know TNG. Thank you for letting me know please!
